FAQs

General

  • NFC stands for Near Field Communication.

    Physically, they are:

🔹 A tiny microchip with a small antenna
🔹 Often hidden inside a sticker, card, wristband, or product
🔹 Designed to store small amounts of information

  • We Already Use NFCs In Our Everyday Lives:

Tap to Pay with your phone or card (like Apple Pay, Google Pay)
Contactless Travel Cards (like Oyster cards, Metro passes)
Tapping a phone to a speaker to pair it
Access passes where you tap a badge or wristband
    ✅ Hotel room key card

But We Want To Use Them For More!

    1. You bring your phone (or card) close to another NFC-enabled thing (reader, tag, etc.)

    2. They exchange tiny bits of information wirelessly

    3. That information can trigger actions such as a payment, opening a webpage, or showcasing your content on Memoyo.
